Xtra Assistance
Renault's unique free 2-year* Renault Assistance service provides all of our new vehicle customers with peace of mind for their first 2 years* of ownership. Unlike some other manufacturers however, Renault's commitment to you does not end there.
This is why many Renault dealers now offer Xtra Assistance, which aims at continuing to provide you with peace of mind, beyond the initial 2 years* of Renault Assistance.
Renault Assistance and Renault Xtra Assistance are provided in association with the AA, from participating dealers only.
The cover offered by the Xtra Assistance upgrade is only available to Xtra Assistance members, and provides cover that could cost well over £200 if bought directly through another recovery programme.

Xtra Assistance Promotions for your peace of mind...
- If your car was registered from 1st September 2006, Xtra Assistance Promotion Year 3 is designed for you.
- If you come to your Wylam Garage* for your routine service in your car's second year, you can receive one year Xtra Assistance for no charge
- If you own a Renault between 3 and 7 year old you can receive Renault Xtra Assistance for no charge each year by having your MOT Test carried out at Wylam Garage.
To qualify for your FREE Xtra Assistance:
Once you have had your MOT completed, our service receptionist at Wylam Garage will activate your Renault Xtra Assistance. A membership pack will then be dispatched to you within the next 14 days.
- To qualify for Free Roadside Assistance you must have your vehicle serviced/MOT tested at a Participating Renault Dealership.
Renault Xtra Assistance Basic Cover
- Roadside Assistance. Assistance a quarter of a mile or more from your home
- Home Start Assistance. Assistance at or within a quarter of a mile from your home
- Local Tow. 10 miles to your closest Renault dealer
Basic Cover does not include Non-Warranty Incidents:
- The use of incorrect fuel, or lack of fuel
- Wheel changes, punctured tyres
- Keys locked inside the vehicle, damaged, lost or stolen
- Road traffic accidents
